Mike M, Ed H, and Mike A:
Our 2008 339 DA finally arrived and I want to let you all know that it more than meets our expectations.
We asked for a lot of custom work (extra cables, updated video distribution box, motorized Sensar Antenna, prep for our own Select Comfort mattress, I/S suspension with disk brakes, etc.) and all of the custom work was all completed in a way that makes it look like it was part of the original design. The new water system was really worth waiting (and waiting, and waiting...) for. It works similar to the way the water system on our previous trailer worked, and I think over the years it will make using the trailer much easier.
We were also pleasantly surprised to see all of the changes from the 07 339 model to 08 model. When we first looked at the 07 trailer, there were things that we would have liked changed, but thought we would have to live with them as is to get the 339 floor plan. Almost everyone of the things we wanted were incorporated into the 08 design. Things like storage cabinets over the couch, slide out cutting board, window trim that runs the whole length of the window, slide out storage behind the TV, halogen lighting with a dimmer switch in the glide, rope lighting over the cabinets, the new water manifold system, one inch baggage doors with a bus style handle, and the quick connect disconnect for a propane grill really add to the trailer. Did I mention the new water system? It's almost (see below) perfect. It is very clear that Nuwa has been listening closely to what owners have been saying on the Owner's Forum and implementing those ideas that make sense.
A lot of the little niceties that NuWa does probably aren't even noticed during a typical walk through--you need to live in the trailer for a while before you can appreciate many of them. It really shows that the NuWa designers and engineers understand trailers.
