Hooked on NuWa !!

I am proud to say that after owning (5) travel trailers and (4) 5th. wheels we are hooked.

It seems that every time we get ready to trade, we look at all the other brands and keep coming back to NuWa. There are several reasons, mainly construction and then all the different floorplan choices. All the trailer manufactures have the same options such as air-conditioners, refrigerators, vacuums etc. So, you have to look past the gadgets and first look at the construction quality. Get up under the trailer, look behind the cabinets and removable panels. There is a lot of junk out there. I think the running gear including axles, suspension, and tires are very important. NuWa meets these requirements on the larger trailers by providing 7000 lb. axles, brakes, G range and hopefully soon H range tires.

With all the problems associated with electric motor driven slide-outs, hydraulic slides are also very important. You will only find these in the more expensive higher quality trailers. The vacuum bonded wall with the the blue foam is the only way to go. I am amazed how well this insulates in both summer and winter.

It is amazing to me how they offer all the different floor plans. You need to look at the practical things such as the number of drawers and the size of these. Make sure the cabinets are large enough to hold things such as cereal boxes, pots, pans. etc. It seems other manufacturers just put whatever size cabinet in that space allows.

NuWa only builds 5th. wheel trailers, not travel trailers, or motor homes. So, they have to get it right, just building one product, to stay in business.

Sure, with a mass produced house on wheels there are going to be problems. But, it seems that NuWa has consistently taken care of these for over 35 years. I read Trailer Life and Highways magazines and have done so for over 10 years, and I seldom read of complaints against NUWA.

The fact that the CEO (owner) of NUWA comes to this forum and listens to customers and takes the time to answer questions is amazing this day and age.

And last, this blog has not been solicited in any way by NUWA.

I am just one more satisfied customer.
