We broke the center shackle hanger on our unit in rural Vermont late on a Saturday afternoon in September. The suspension partially collapsed inward and cut down and ruined the right rear tire. We had it repaired well enough to get it to Chanute in October on our way home. This post has three purposes: 1) Please check your unit's Lippert frame. If the center hanger is not boxed or gussetted in some way, I suggest that you have it done. I do not believe this is a common problem because ours broke right along the line where the steel had been bent to make the "U," so I believe the metal had been formed or bent incorrectly rather than it being a design problem. 2) We want to use the Forum to personally thank Clay Harding for his help with this matter, both when we first called and then when we arrived at the factory. 3) We want to thank NuWa for their continuing excellent support of their units and their owners. This is our second NuWa product (we had a 2003 DA 29RL), and we would not buy any other make. There are just too many good reasons to own a NuWa rather than something else.
