Jerry Bauder's experience and comments posted in the testimonial section caused NuWa to realize it was time to publicize our new radiant barrier insulation feature now being added to all Discover America and Champagne trailers.
This high-tech heat reflective material is said to reflect up to 90% of the heat that attempts to pass through it. Even if it's only 25% effective, the impact would be impressive.
NuWa is installing this material on trailer and glide room roofs and floors, behind the end caps, underbelly, and bedroom floor of the trailer, in addition to the normal insulation which is provided. It is used on the floor of the bedroom closet to help reduce possible cold and condensation.
This material is not included in the R factor ratings of the unit, because one cannot accurately measure the R factor result of this reflective material, even though the results are impressive. It is hoped that this material will not only improve heating results, but will reduce the need for two air conditioners. This material was added during late model year 2007 to all NuWa products.
